What is a Will?
In simple terms, your Last Will and Testament (Will) allows you to decide what happens to your money, property and possessions after your death.
Why do I need a Will?
Every adult should have a Will, without a Will the law decides who inherits. With a Will, you decide. With no Will, it will usually take longer and cost more to wind up your estate.
Who will be writing my Will?
There are two services we offer; one is with McClure Solicitors who offer a free will writing service and review over the phone or in person. We also offer an online-only service through Farewill.
The online free Will writing service with Farewill is only available for residents of England and Wales.
The free Will writing service with McClure is available to residents of The United Kingdom.

What is a Legacy Gift?
A Legacy Gift is a planned future gift written in a Will that designates some part of an individual’s estate as a donation to a charity. Legacy gifts enable individuals to leave a legacy or memory of their life through their future giving.
Do I need a Will to leave a Legacy Gift?
Were you aware that if you die without a Will, your estate will be distributed under the Intestacy Rules which means that if you had wanted to leave legacies your assets may not reach those you had intended to benefit?
Why should I do it now?
None of us knows what is around the corner. If you leave it until you need it, it will be too late. So, let’s get it done.
What types of Legacy Gift can I leave?
If you want to leave Christian Broadcasting Network (UK) a gift in your will, it’s worth taking time to think about the form and value of your gift.
You can leave the following types:
- a gift of a specific amount of money – you can ask your will writer to index link the amount to ensure that its value increases with inflation
- a percentage of whatever is left from your estate once you’ve looked after your family and friends
- a specific item such as property, jewellery or other valuables
What does the Bible Say?
“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me–the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”
Acts 20:24 (NIV)
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
2 Timothy 4:7 (NIV)
Like the apostle Paul, determine to finish your race well, keep the faith and complete the task that you have been given. Choose to set your sights on the finishing line and finish strong.
However, the race doesn’t have to stop at the finishing line. By planning and leaving a legacy gift to Christian Broadcasting Network (UK), you will ensure that long after you have gone, you can pass the baton to future generations who can continue to run their race too.
We all have financial commitments, which means we can’t always do as much as we would like to. However, a gift left in your will to Christian Broadcasting Network (UK) is an opportunity to give more than you have ever been able to give in your lifetime, providing continual hope for future generations.
You may never see the true imprint of your life and influence here and now, but you can plan and prepare that your legacy and obedience will continue to impact people with the good news of Jesus.
