‘Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint…’ Proverbs 29 v 18 NIV

‘Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.’ Habakkuk 2 v 2 NIV

Sometimes it’s it very hard to imagine any kind of future for yourself.

Your vision can feel cloudy and cause you to doubt that anything good could or ever will happen. Your dreams and hopes are a little empty. This is why God is so good. After 12 years of not being able to see any kind of good future for myself, God has begun to give me dreams for my future again. It is said that children with dreams become adults with vision so I will accept any dreams that God places in my heart.

Never stop dreaming friends.

Dreams become vision and vision, if pursued, can become reality. If, like me, you struggle with the word vision, replace it with the word ‘anticipation.’ What are you anticipating? What are you expecting? What are you looking forward to?

If it helps you, think about the following areas of your life:

Your relationship with God

Your relationship with people

Your health

Your finances

Your work life

Dream big friends. Remember, we serve the God of the immeasurably more.

__________

Father, I pray that you will reveal vision for my life so that I may grab hold of it.
Speak loud and clear God so that I can write it down and run with it.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
