One of the best things about living in the digital age is the amount of resources available, that are free or cost very little. Think about it for a second: we have the world’s information accessible at the press of a button or even at a voice command (if you’re fancy). We have tools and technology at our fingertips, designed by some of the smartest people in the world, to make our lives easier and fuller.
Whether you make use of all this technology or not, it is an immense privilege. I’ve been driving for several years but have always had access to a ‘Tom-Tom’ or Sat Nav. Now, I raise my phone and tell it to “take me home” and it’ll chart a route for me, adjusting as we go.I’m old enough to remember the days when my Mum used to sit with a map on her lap whilst Dad drove around a new city but my younger brothers don’t.
I can order a meal from my favourite restaurant, 10 miles from my house and have it delivered, automatically paying for it. My coffee can ready for me when I walk into the coffee shop, having been ordered via an app. My Gran can call my Uncle across timezones and continents, through the video calling on her iPad.

A good Notes App: Taking notes during your devotional time, when God speaks to you out and about, or when you need to remember something good that someone said, is a great way to continually connect with God. Don’t underestimate what jotting something down can do!
Superbook Bible, Video and Games: If you’ve got kids, then you’ve got to get the Superbook App! Filled with videos, games and their very own Superbook Bible, it’s a must have!
