We live in a world that is constantly growing, changing and developing. Technology plays a huge part in our lives, allowing us to plan and organise our lives with evident help. It’s incredible; it gives us so many opportunities, from staying connected with our friends and family to growing and even challenging our faith/ fellowship, using the latest bible apps and writing/ updating on social media.

Jesus said to His Disciples, (Mark 16:15) “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

God wants us to use the resources we’ve been given. Technology can fill the gap, to help us take God’s message into all the world and preach the Gospel, to see his name covering the nations and generations to come. To see people’s lives forever knowing his love and intimacy with him and pulling their hearts closer to him. 

Through the power of technology, video conferencing, the internet, media devices, phones. We have been able to see lives being forever change across the oceans which is exactly what God is calling us to do. We know the light, love, calling and freedom that we have received from Jesus, and so we are then called as a people to go and see others impacted.

As technology has evolved and keeps evolving so does the urge to create real, lasting change that saves lives in the process. By having online preaching and teachings we able to see so many people’s lives grow but also for those people who maybe can’t get to church on a Sunday for one reason on another. We don’t know every situation and story but we do know that having the access to church online is creating life change.  You have no idea the impact you are having by sharing a word of encouragement on social media or posting a link to a preach you have seen.

Let’s use everything that God has placed in our hands, we are in a world which is filled with media and technology. Let’s use this to further God’s kingdom and see his message of love and hope being spread throughout the world.
