Steven and Leslie’s story
Steven and Leslie’s financial situation was looking desperate but, no matter what, they continued to faithfully give to the CBN ministry. Read on to find out how God honoured them by turning their circumstances around.
Leslie and Steven from Newbury are monthly partners of CBN’s 700 Club. They have a successful energy assessing business in the UK. Today their company is thriving, but that wasn’t always the case.
Several years ago their business nearly collapsed due to the bankruptcy of a partner company – some nights they weren’t even able to sleep.
However, even when they couldn’t afford to buy enough food, they continued to give to CBN.
“None of us are in the position that we can give millions but, if millions give, it makes such a difference.”
One day, as an act of faith, Leslie called CBN to increase their monthly giving and to ask for a prayer. What happened next was amazing.
Leslie comments, “all of a sudden we started receiving phone calls for business for work out of the blue, we didn’t look for them and I would I would ask the client how did you hear about us? We looked on the internet and each time it started to snowball and we knew it was because of being faithful.”
Since then they have seen a 500% increase in their business and are even having to turn clients away.
Steven says, “None of us are in the position that we can give millions but, if millions give, it makes such a difference.”
