Nathaniel and Sarah’s story

Nathaniel and Sarah were struggling with their financial circumstances. Then, one day, a chance viewing of CBN’s 700 Club turned everything around for them.

Nathaniel was born and brought up in West Africa in a middle-class family.

Being very ambitious, he decided to move to Europe for a better future and to be able to build a house for his family back home. Nathaniel immediately found a job in Italy and progressed quickly, and within a few years ended up being a factory manager.

However, along the way Nathaniel made some serious financial mistakes. 

During this time Nathaniel got married to Sarah and soon started a family which increased the financial pressure on them. 

Nathaniel comments, “For about six years we lived in in that prison of 30% of our income. The credit card loans with the main loan that I took was heading towards €35000.”

One day he returned home from work frustrated and, trying to figure out what they should do next, he turned on his television.

Nathaniel says, “I put it on, it was on Revelation TV and the 700 Club was just ending, so the gentleman I saw was Gordon Robertson and he was expanding on a scripture in Joshua chapter 1:7-8. I was marvelled because the scripture talked of good success and that is what I wanted, so I became curious.”

Nathaniel and Sarah made the decision to read the Bible and continue to watch the 700 Club everyday. As they learnt the Biblical principles about giving and continued to give to CBN, things started to change. One of his colleagues told Nathaniel about tax credits from the government that they were due for the last six years.

Nathaniel also started working for a new company and earned more money enabling him to pay off his debts. They were now debt free and prayed to God asking Him to show them where he wanted them to be. Nathaniel and Sarah then decided to move to the UK with their family.

Today Nathaniel and Sarah are monthly Founder partners with CBN and continue to know God’s blessings and favour upon their lives.
