Continued Fruitfulness from the Jajce Feeding Project

Kenan and Alisa’s Testimony

Kenan has been a part of our school feeding project in Jajce for some time. Through a CBN’s Orphan’s Promise scholarship programme, we have been able to support Kenan financially in order to sit his final school exams.  

Not only has he now passed those exams, but Kenan has secured a job! Praise God! 

Job prospects in Bosnia are very scarce. Even though many people have left the country in order to find work, secure employment is hard to come by. That is why we are so encouraged to see children that have been affected by projects supported by CBN’s OP begin to flourish. 

And to add to this great testimony, Kenan’s mother, Alisa, has also found employment. Our team in Bosnia, led by Coordinator Dina Hajder, had been praying in recent months for Alisa’s job. 

Dina explains, “A few weeks ago, she [Alisa] came to my home for coffee and said: “You will not believe. I got a job.” What is so amazing in this is that in one of the reports I wrote that we should pray for her to get a job. Once she said she got a job I said, “Wow, we prayed for you”. She replied, “So God heard you”. 

We are so grateful that we get the opportunity to not only sow into the lives of these children but their whole families too. We are so encouraged by the answered prayers and God’s faithfulness to us. Without the support of our donors and partners across the world, stories like this would not be possible. 

It truly is a testimony of ‘at risk’ to thriving.
